This is what your dog breed says about you, according to a vet
It's often said pets are mini versions of their owners.
They may reflect their looks, attitudes and even personalities, and it might all come down to what breed they are.
But what about the other way? Perhaps pet owners are a specific 'type' depending on the breed they own.
Vet Dr Adam Christman has revealed on TikTokwhat certain dog breeds say about their owners' personalities.

Christman examined six popular breeds: Golden retrievers, pugs, German shepherds, huskies or Alaskan malamutes, poodles and pitbulls.
"If you own a golden retriever, you're probably vey friendly and have a good nature," he began.
"And you're the person that if you left a party, they're gonna be like, 'Where did she go?' versus, 'Thank god they're gone'."

Up next on Christman's list was pugs.
"If you're part of the pug palooza, you're probably caring, have a great sense of humour, and if you have asthma, you can relate," he says.
Pugs are known for having many health problems, as they're brachycephalic based on their squished faces and airways.
Moving on to German Shepherds, Christman says, "If your fur baby is mixed with a German shepherd, you're very reliable. You're protective and you have great intuition."

The next breed was huskies, or Alaskan malamutes.
"If you've got the husky or Alaskan malamute you love the outdoors, but drama tends to follow you," he says.
The vet compares these owners to "a walking Bravo channel."
Second-last on Christman's list was poodles.
While poodles come in a few different varieties, including miniature and toy, Christman didn't specify and generally pointed in the direction of the classic poodle.
If you own a poodle, according to Christman, you're up there.

"You're elegant, sophisticated, you may even be bougie," he with a chuckle.
Last but not least is the pitbull.
"You may have a tough shell on the outside, but guess what? You're so mushy on the inside, but also a goofball," he says.
