Katy Perry admits she 'cast a little spell' before meeting Orlando Bloom

It seems Katy Perry may not have met Orlando Bloom by chance.

The pop star, who is currently in Australia, says she 'cast a little spell' to manifest her now-fiancé and partner of nine years.

The revelation came about in a candid conversation with Jackie 'O' Henderson on The Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning.

As the pair discussed angel numbers – the inspiration behind Perry's new album 143, which she says is a numeric expression of "I love you" – Henderson asked about the moment she fell in love with the Lord of the Rings star.

"When you met Orlando [Bloom], did you know straight away that this was like, 'Yes, this is the guy I've been waiting for'? Or was it a slow burn? Did it build?" she asked.

"It definitely built," Perry replied before revealing how she manifested him.

"I cast a little spell for him, and it came true."

Henderson was immediately intrigued, revealing she believes in manifestation and wanted to know more.

The Kyle and Jackie O Show's newsreader Brooklyn Ross, who was also sitting in on the interview, chimed in.

"Word for word, what was the spell?" he asked.

Henderson shared the sentiment asking, "What did you do?"

Perry explained she had been in a "tricky situation" in her life and felt as though she was "going through this loop love-wise", so she decided to do something about it.

"I literally was like, 'You know what? I'm going to write down a recipe of what I want in my future mate'," she explained.

"And I wrote two things that I really remember very clearly, which was someone to meet me in my adventure language, my adventure love language, and then also someone that's as spiritually curious as I am."

"So then I was like, 'I'm going to this event. Maybe I'll meet someone there'," she continued.

"I chose this dress. It was this shade of pink that I knew kind of was related to rose quartz. I was doing all of the things, you know, and then it happened that night."

That event was a Golden Globes party in 2016, where she had a meet-cute with Bloom over some fast food.

"I ordered some In-N-Out burgers to an award show, and he stole one off of my table. And I was like, 'That's interesting. You're interesting. Hello. Don't take my burger but take my burger'," she told Henderson and Ross.
