Katharine McPhee is pregnant, expecting first child with husband David Foster
Katharine McPhee is pregnant!
The US actress/singer, 36, and her Canadian musician husband, David Foster, 70, are expecting their first child together, according to People. The Smash star was spotted out and about with a noticeable baby bump as she shopped with Foster this week.
While this will be McPhee's first child, Foster is about to become a father-of-six. He already shares daughters Sara, 39, Erin, 38 and Jordan, 34, with his second wife, Rebecca Dyer. He is also dad to daughters Allison, 50, and Amy, 46, from previous relationships.

McPhee and Foster first met in 2006 when he mentored her during Season 5 of American Idol. They didn't start dating until 2017, following Foster's divorce from Yolanda Hadid. The couple wed in June 2019. It was McPhee's second marriage and Foster's fifth.
Erin told People earlier this year that the age gap has never been a problem for her dad and Foster.

"Interestingly, the age difference has played a role in a positive way," she said. "Our dad comes from a generation where women are more passive. He is also passive about his feelings. Kat has really pushed him to open up.
"We could get into a fight, and then Kat's like, 'No, you have to pick up the phone, call your daughter back.' She's a facilitator, which is really important. She pushes him to be more emotional and more vulnerable."
Erin jokingly added at the time that her siblings' "biggest isue with Katharine is how hot she is."
