Kanye West reportedly 'missing' amid looming $4.5 million lawsuit

The rapper formerly known as Kanye West is reportedly nowhere to be found.

Ye's former business manager has been allegedly trying to locate the rapper to serve him a $4.5 million contract lawsuit.

Thomas St. John filed the lawsuit against the embattled rapper over unpaid fees. However, The Sun now reports that St. John has been unable to track Ye down.

"As a general matter, we have had difficulty confirming the best current address of Kanye West," a court filing reportedly said, adding that "we have attempted to service him by mail" at "three separate addresses." 

According to TMZ, Ye has been living a "nomadic life for months, travelling here and there and not really having a home base." The lawsuit from St. John, which alleges that Ye yelled at him and became "heated and aggressive" during a January 2022 meeting, comes amid several months of backlash against the rapper for antisemitic comments and generally erratic behaviour.

St. John's team also say that they have not been able to contact lawyers representing Ye as he seemingly does not have legal representation as of now. 

Back in October, Ye was said to have been working with Camille Vasquez, who represented Johnny Depp in his trial against Amber Heard. However, the pair parted ways after Ye refused to retract his antisemitic comments.

Ye hired St. John on an 18-month fixed term contract working as his senior financial advisor and chief financial officer, according to court documents.

However, he allegedly only worked for three of the 18 month guaranteed term and was not paid for his time working. The lawsuit cannot move forward until Ye has been served the papers. 

This is just one example of the continual woes the rapper has faced this year, most recently, his ex-wife Kim Kardashian spoke on the pair's troubled divorce in an interview on the podcast Angie Martinez IRL saying she was holding on "by a thread".
