Kanye West wipes his Instagram clean after admitting to 'harassing' ex Kim Kardashian: 'I take accountability'

Kanye West has called out his own behaviour towards ex Kim Kardashian.

In the past few weeks, the rapper has posted a series of Instagram messages about his desire to win back his estranged wife, all while criticising her new boyfriend, Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson.

West has since wiped his Instagram account clean, leaving just one apologetic message for Kardashian, in which he admitted to "harassing" her.

"I've learned that using all caps makes people feel like I'm screaming at them. I'm working on my communication," he wrote on Instagram. "I can benefit from a team of creative professionals, organizers, mobilizers and community leaders."

"Thank everybody for supporting me. I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim," he added. "I take accountability. I'm still learning in real time. I don't have all the answers. To be good leader is to be a good listener."

The admission comes after West leaked private text messages between himself and his estranged wife. In the texts, Kardashian asked him why he can't keep their "conversations private" while also requesting West stop endangering her new boyfriend.

"U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault," she wrote in the screenshots shared by West. "There are dangerous people out there and this is scary and it doesn't have to be."

West listened to his ex's pleas and wrote in a message to his fans: "UPON MY WIFE'S REQUEST PLEASE NOBODY DO ANYTHING PHYSICAL TO SKETE IM GOING TO HANDLE THE SITUATION MYSELF." 

In a text message to Kardashian, West wrote: "I will always do everything to protect you and our family forever. And I listened to you and told everyone to make sure nothing physical happens to Skete."
