Superslim!
Jonah Hill debuted his noticeably slimmed down body while exiting a gym in LA over the weekend.
The 33-year-old actor had gained 40 pounds for his most recent role in Wars Dogs but now appears to be at his trimmest ever.
"I wanted to get in better shape, so I called [22 Jump Street co-star] Channing Tatum, and said, 'Hey, if I ate less and go to a trainer, will I get in better shape?'" Jonah revealed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. "And he said, 'Yes, you dumb mother---er, of course you will, it's the simplest thing in the entire world.'"
Jonah, who know keeps a strict food journal, has yo-yo dieted over the years for various roles. In 2011, he lost 18 kilos to star opposite Brad Pitt in Moneyball and credited his weight loss to a Japanese diet.
"It was just mostly diet," he told ABC News in 2012. "I wish there was some crazy thing that I did, like a pill or a genie or something. But it was, unfortunately, I went to see a nutritionist, and he told me what to eat to change my habits and stuff. I found that Japanese food was very helpful to me."
Jonah, who rose to fame in Superbad, says his health was the main motivating factor in shaping up.
"I was living like a frat guy," he told New York Magazine in 2011. "Being healthier came along with maturity…I want to live a long time."
