Joe Jonas reflects on dating again after Sophie Turner split: 'Really scary and intimidating'

Joe Jonas has spoken about dating again, following his split from British actress Sophie Turner.

The pair's divorce was reportedly finalised in September last year

Now the Jonas Brothers singer, 35, has said in a new interview that the idea of dating again after the breakdown of his marriage was "really scary and intimidating".

He made the admission while appearing in a TalkShopLive stream and speaking about his new music and his new single called Only Love.

He said he was "seeing somebody at the time" when he penned the track.

"I was seeing somebody at the time and I was kind of having this idea of dating again. It was really scary and like, intimidating," he said.

"Love takes different shapes and forms and I was re-discovering what that was."

The hitmaker added that the person he was seeing actually inspired the name of the song as they "comically and sarcastically" told him: ''Well, it's only love."

He added: ''It's okay to take a leap of faith and just try again, put yourself out there."

Jonas reportedly filed for divorce in September 2023.

The pair, who share two children together, first tied the knot in May 2019.

Since then, Turner is believed to be dating British aristocrat Peregrine "Perry" Pearson, with pictures of Pearson seen on the Game of Thrones star's official Instagram account.

"I'm going through a legal process right now where I can't really say much, but it was incredibly sad. We had a beautiful relationship, and it was hard," Turner previously told Harper's Bazaar about her and Jonas' split.
