Jennifer Lopez's latest blow to ex Alex Rodriguez

Jennifer Lopez has further cemented her split from ex-fiance Alex Rodriguez with her latest power move.

The Hustlers actress has "unfollowed" the former baseball star on Instagram, with keen fans pointing out the change to her social media profile.

The pair officially split in April, 2021, releasing a joint statement saying they are "better as friends".

"We wish the best for each other and one another's children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support," the statement added.

Since then, the 'Lets Get Loud' singer has been spotted rekindling her relationship with ex-fiance Ben Affleck.

The pair, who were engaged from 2002 to 2004, have been snapped kissing, and JLo confirmed the news in a July post to Instagram featuring the couple exchanging a passionate kiss.

The Bronx-born entertainer has since removed all photos of Rodriguez from her Instagram, including images of the pair appearing at President Joe Biden's inauguration, where Lopez performed.

Photos and clips of the star alone during the event, however, remain.

The return of 'Bennifer' was first rumoured in April 2021, after the couple were spotted together following the singer's highly-publicised split.

Lopez and Affleck began dating almost two decades after their initial split, with high praise circulating the couple from A-list friends.

Hollywood actor Matt Damon has shared his love and support for the pair, recently appearing on The Carlos Watson Show, to say "no one's pulling harder" for their relationship to succeed than himself.

Damon previously expressed his delight for the couple, telling Extra in July he was "just so happy" about the pair's blossoming relationship.

"[Affleck's] the best. He deserves every happiness in the world," Damon added.

"I'm glad for both of them."

Another source told People that the pair "are madly in love" and "the loves of each other's lives."

Meanwhile, Rodriguez is reportedly enjoying single life cruising around the Mediterranean coast to celebrate his 46th birthday.

Page Six reported a source claimed Rodriguez is "single and having fun" amid his break-up.
