Jay Z and Solange make first public appearance since lift showdown

It's the first time they've appeared together since the elevator incident back in May, but Jay Z has just shown up to sister-in-law Solange's wedding ceremony today in New Orleans.

So far there have been no reports of a mid-wedding throw down… but the night is young.

Does this mean the family feud is well and truly behind them or is it a case of 'Bey would kill me if I didn't go'?

We're thinking the latter.

Bride Solange chose a cream pantsuit with a cape while her groom Alan Fergusson opted for a white suit with no tie.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar earlier this year , the singer opened up about her previous "loser" lovers, including ex-husband Daniel Smith. "Luckily, I dated all of the losers ages ago. My love life has been stable for a while. It's a f--ked up thing—without conflict it's a lot harder to write interesting songs," she said.

Solange, 28, and her video director beau Alan, 51, tied the knot at Marigny Opera House in New Orleans in front of 200 guests including Jay, Bey, mum Tina Knowles, son Daniel Julez and singer Janelle Monae.

However, rap king Jay opted out of the pre-wedding festivities, which took place on Saturday night, leaving Beyonce to roll solo to a party at Indywood cinema.
