Jamie Lee Curtis' daughter Ruby is getting married in May, and the actress has revealed she'll be officiating the ceremony — clad in a custom-made World of Warcraft costume.

The 63-year-old Freaky Friday star revealed her daughter's wedding to her partner Cynthia will be hosted in her back garden.

"It is a cosplay wedding. That means you wear a costume, you dress up as something," Curtis explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this week. Watch above.

Curtis said she has specially ordered a costume, and will be dressed as the character Jaina Proudmoore — who is a mage — from the popular game.

"It's a game, I don't know. She's an admiral. I went on Etsy and wrote 'Jaina Proudmoore costume' and up came a woman, had the costume. I said, 'Great,'" the Knives Out star told host Jimmy Kimmel.

The order delivery, however, has presented a challenge for Curtis, as the seamstress is based in Russia.

"We exchanged communication, I paid her a nice sum of money for this and all is going great. I sent her my measurements," Curtis explained.

"Everything was okay until a month ago, two or three weeks ago, I got an email from her. She said there may be a delay in sending the costume. I said, 'Okay, that's fine, a week or two is fine'," the actress, who at this point had started to realise the conflict in Ukraine may delay her costume delivery — as well as her daughter's wedding dress — said.

"The costume is coming from Russia. She is a seamstress in Russia who is making my daughter's, my, cosplay wedding outfit," Curtis concluded, and Kimmel joked in response, "Well, she'd better get that to you."

Curtis is hoping the costume will get to Los Angeles in time for the wedding.

Ruby, 26, is not the only child of Curtis' who will have their wedding in Curtis' backyard — in fact, Curtis got emotional as she explained that her 35-year-old daughter Annie, who she shares with husband Christopher Guest, also got married in her backyard.

"Both my children will have been married in my backyard, which brings me to tears," she said.

"It's so much more meaningful. Being a parent, having both of your children married in your backyard. It's just in your home."
