Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds smash global record with release of Deadpool & Wolverine trailer
All eyes might have been on Blake Lively alongside Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl on Monday but it was her husband, Ryan Reynolds who truly broke the internet.
The actor debuted the first look at his new movie, Deadpool & Wolverine – in which he reprises his non-PC superhero role alongside Australian actor Hugh Jackman – during the massive American football match.
The teaser trailer was released online after the game and went on to become the most viewed movie trailer of all time.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have smashed records with the teaser trailer for their new movie Deadpool & Wolverine getting 365 million views in 24 hours Marvel/Disney
It clocked 365 million views in the first 24 hours, according to Disney, beating the previous record holder, Spider-Man: No Way Home, which was seen 355 million times in a day.
Fans were excited to get a look at the third instalment in the Deadpool franchise, which marks a crossover into the Marvel universe, prompting Jackman to suit up again as X-Men star Wolverine for the first time in seven years.

But the frenemies' social media trolling might have helped direct attention to the two-minute clip too.
Jackman jokingly "fixed" the movie poster and re-titled the film, sharing his version in an Instagram post.
"Pump the brakes. It's a long road to July, Peanut," Reynolds replied dryly.
Reynolds also trolled his wife online – who comically returned serve – capturing its own headlines.
The Canadian actor shared a photo posing proudly next to Deadpool on the TV at home during the game.
"Has everyone seen the #Deadpool trailer? Also has anyone seen my wife?" the 47-year-old asked, making jokes about the Gossip Girl star being shown repeatedly on TV in Swift's VIP box.
He then shared a close-up photo of Lively's jewellery at the game, showing she was wearing a bracelet with the "best friend" charms used in the Deadpool & Wolverine movie poster.
"Found my wife," he wrote.
