Hilary Swank pregnant with her third child at 52

Oscar winner Hilary Swank has announced she is pregnant with her third child.

The Million Dollar Baby star, 52, shared the news on Instagram, posting a creative video of herself, husband Philip Schneider and their three-year-old twins Aya and Ohm dancing before revealing a bump.

In the clip, the family dances to You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet by Canadian band Bachman Turner Overdrive with the lights off and glow sticks taped to their bodies.

Swank then appears with a glow-stick baby on her stomach.

“A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December,” she captioned the video.

Swank first became a mother at 48, when she and Schneider welcomed their twins in April 2023.

She has opened up previously about becoming a mother in her late fourties after being more career-driven in her earlier years.

“I was 47 when I got pregnant, and I feel like I have a lot more patience, and I’ve done a lot of my own personal work to be the type of mother I want to be, whereas it would’ve just been different in my 20s and 30s,” she told People in 2024.

"I don't think I would've had the patience and the grace that I hopefully can bestow a little bit more [of] now, and a self-awareness in a different way that I don't need to focus on myself anymore in the way that I did at that point."

On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Swank said being a mother of twins was “the best in the whole wide world”.

“Yes, it’s more joy, more fun and more exhausting. It’s more everything than I ever thought it would be. It’s more glorious, it’s the most extraordinary thing in the world,” she said.

Swank and Schneider met in 2014 on a blind date and wed in 2018.
