'I wish he was still alive': Heather Graham's rare comments on her romance with Heath Ledger
Heath Ledger's life was tragically cut short at the age of 28 when he died in New York from an accidental overdose of prescription medications.
In the years before his death, the late Aussie actor had several high-profile relationships, including romances with Naomi Watts, Michelle Williams, Aussie model Gemma Ward, and actress Heather Graham.
This week, American actress Graham, 55, touched on their relationship in a new podcast interview and said she was "very in love with him" during their time together.

Speaking on the Are You A Charlotte? podcast with Sex and the City star Kristin Davis, she admitted: "I was very in love with him when we dated. He's kind of amazing.
"I have some really cool pictures of when we dated. I feel proud that I dated him... it was fun. I wish he was still alive, that would be nice. But some of these really bright lights don't get to live so long."
The pair reportedly dated from October 2000 to June 2001.
Davis recalled the moment she once spotted the former couple out and about, and said how in love they looked during their time together.

"At the time, you two were just this ray of light in this Coffee Bean," she said.
"You were kind of giggly and touching each other... You were cute."
They met in Prague when Ledger was filming A Knight's Tale and Graham was starring in From Hell.
Ledger died in New York in 2008, after finishing the 2008 film The Dark Knight, which he won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar posthumously for.
In February 2021, Graham shared a tribute post to Ledger and pictures of the pair together on her official Instagram account.

"Going through my photos I found these. Just remembering this time. Heath Ledger was such a special person," she wrote.
Boogie Nights star Graham is now dating snowboarder John de Neufville.
