'Double blessing': NRL star Nat Butcher and his wife Harmony reveal they are expecting twins

Congratulations are in order for Harmony Butcher and her husband, NRL star Nat Butcher who are expecting again.

The couple, who welcomed their first child Beau William Butcher last April, are now anticipating the arrival of two new additions.

"Beau is going to be a big brother... to TWINS," the couple wrote in a joint post on Instagram.

"Our little family of three is about to become five and we couldn't be more grateful for this double blessing."

The couple shared the news alongside a series of photos from a recent maternity shoot.

In the photo, Harmony, Nat and their son Beau smile for the camera at the beach.

They also shared some photos of their sonography scan as they confirmed the news.

Fans and loved ones were quick to share their excitement for the couple and their young family in the comment section.

"OH MY GOSH, congratulations this is the best news ever!!!" wrote internet star Jadé Brycki.

"Aahwww congratulations! So exciting," wrote model Miranda Kramer.

After sharing the news, Harmony shared a message to her Instagram stories to recongise the many hopeful parents who may be struggling with their fertillity journey.

"As we share our special news, I hold a place in my heart for those who are facing challenges on their journey to starting or growing their family," she wrote.

"You may be still waiting on your miracle, greiving a loss, going through treatments, figuring out different options or experiencing heartache and disappointment."

"If you're having a hard day today know you're not alone," she continued.

"I'm sending so much love. The journey can be hard, confusing and all-consuming. Just keep reminding yourself that you have the strength to do this season. God is faithful and you dont need to do the journey alone."

Harmony also announced the news in a comedic video on TikTok announcing that she is pregnant with twins.

In the video, Harmony wears an oversized tee-shirt as she lip-syns to a trending TikTok sound.

"I have a secret to tell you, all the girls know, Jeremiah knows but you have to promise me you are not going to say anything to any of the other guys cause it's not their business," the sound said.

She then lifted her shirt to reveal her baby bump as the sound in the background said, "I'm a mummy".

"Its been so hard trying to hide this bump," she revealed in the caption, tagging it with "#TWINS".
