Kerry Packer's granddaughter and billionaire heiress Francesca Packer Barham 'set to marry fiancé today' at family estate

Kerry Packer's granddaughter and billionaire heiress Francesca Packer Barham is getting married today, according to reports.

The Daily Telegraph the 31-year-old is set to tie the knot with entrepreneur fiancé Robert Bates, 46, in a quiet family-only legal ceremony at her family's sprawling Hunter Valley Estate.

She is reportedly planning a bigger, more lavish wedding celebration on Spain's island of Majorca in July.

The pair have never officially confirmed their engagement, but rumours began swirling that Bates had popped the question in February this year.

It's believed they've been dating since 2022. In the past, she has reportedly dated the likes of musician Joshua Mullane.

Nine.com.au has contacted Francesca for comment.

Francesca, who is the niece of businessman James Packer and the daughter of Gretel Packer, 60, and financier Nick Barham, tends to keep her relationships out of the public eye.

Francesca has a public Instagram account, but last posted on her feed in March 2022, which was a tribute to her mother and grandmother, Roslyn Packer, the fomer wife of Kerry Packer.

It was a post for International Womens Day.

"Strong women raise strong women 💪🏼 so much love for my incredible role models…today and everyday 🥰," she wrote, tagging her mother and grandmother.

She also opened up on her relationship with her mother in an older Instagram Mother's Day post, saying her mother is her "best friend".

"There is nothing quite as precious as a mother who is also a friend... and when they happen to be your best friend, well, I guess I've just won the lottery..." Francesca wrote.

"Happy Mother's Day to the most beautiful, inspirational and caring person I know! Love you Mumma xxxx @gretel_packer #happymothersday #iloveyou."

The late Kerry Packer was a media tycoon and died in 2005.

Just two months ago, more happy news was revealed for the Packer family.

James Packer confirmed he's engaged to former model and his former ex, Kylie Lim, who he dated from 2017 to 2020.
