Salma Hayek may have just uncovered the next big rage in staying fit and eternally youthful in Hollywood. The actress posted a short Instagram video of herself feasting on a cricket.

Could this be the secret to how she looks so amazing at age 48, a diet with nutritious crickets on the menu?

In some parts of the world like Mexico (where Salma is from), it's perfectly normal to eat crickets. They're said to be loaded with protein and essential nutrients like iron and magnesium, but the very idea of it kind of leaves us gagging.

Salma, though, appears to thoroughly enjoy her creepy-crawly snack. She also looks amazing eating it, so there's always that.
