Sonia Kruger to co-host The Voice next season

Darren McMullen is about to get a new co-host on the upcoming season of The Voice, and her name is Sonia Kruger. Yep, The Mornings and Big Brother host has gotten a brand new gig.

The Nine Network made the announcement today, just as filming of the fourth season is set to kick off this week in Sydney.

"When it comes to big, shiny floor shows it doesn't get any better than The Voice and I'm looking forward to being front and centre co-hosting with my new buddy Darren," Sonia, 49, said.

She'll also be joining returning coaches Ricky Martin, Joel Madden and Delta Goodrem, as well as newcomers Benji Madden and Jessie J.

Wonder if she'll become besties with the Madden wives Nicole Richie and Cameron Diaz.
