First clip from The Revenant picks up after Leonardo DiCaprio's battle with the bear

It's one of the most talked about scenes of the holiday movie season: Leonardo DiCaprio and the bear.

Now the just-released first preview clip from Leo's next Oscar hopeful The Revenant has arrived, and it shows what happens shortly after the grizzly encounter.

Leo may have survived the bear, but he's clearly not out of the woods yet…figuratively and literally. Watch the clip above.

The 40-year-old star received a Golden Globe best actor nomination for The Revenant last week. He's already considered a frontrunner to finally win his first Oscar, and after watching this scene, we can see why.
