What, no applause?! '90s star Brandy sings and gets totally ignored on NYC subway
Jeremy Helligar
The '90s are definitely over. One of that decade's biggest stars can't even get a nice round of applause on a New York City subway these days.
Throwback singing sensation Brandy, 36, hopped onto the subway wearing a hoodie and sunnies and burst into song. Not only did the passengers not recognise her, but they pretty much ignored her whole performance.
Watch the awkward moment in the video above. Ironically, Brandy hasn't sounded so great in years.
Hopefully, the audiences are more appreciative on Broadway, where Brandy is currently starring as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago.
