'You look so much better already': Teary Robbie Williams consoled by wife while getting his back waxed

Robbie Williams has never been a particularly plucked and tweezed pop star, but that doesn't mean he won't suffer for beauty.

The 42-year-old singer has gone for the smooth-all-over look at least once by getting his back waxed, and his wife Ayda Field was on hand to document the whole painful experience.

The actress shared a home video of poor Robbie mid hair removal during an appearance on the UK talk show Loose Women, and it's not pretty...but then, waxing sessions never are. Watch it above.

Robbie was backstage while his wife was on the talk show promoting her series Fresh Meat.

"I can't wait for the world to meet my wife. I'm incredibly proud of her," he said on camera before Ayda hit the stage.

"She rocks and the world needs to know."
