Fire Fight Australia: Queen re-enact show-stopping 1985 Live Aid performance

Queen, fronted by Adam Lambert, re-enacted its iconic Live Aid performance for the first time in 35 years at Sunday night's Fire Fight Australia concert in Sydney.

In 1985, Freddie Mercury and his band made headlines around the world with their 22-minute set featuring tracks 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'Radio Ga Ga', 'Hammer to Fall', 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love', 'We Will Rock You', and 'We Are the Champions'.

And they did it all over again at Fire Fight, helping raise $9.5 million by the end of the 10-hour live show.

They began with 'Bohemian Rhapsody' before diving into 'Radio Gaga', just like Freddie Mercury did in 1985.

Fire Fight Australia was hosted by Celeste Barber, who helped raise $51.3 million through a Facebook fundraising campaign this year.

She praised Australia for coming together in times of need at the beginning of the show.

"It's been such a hectic time. As Aussies, we bear together and look after each other — because it turns out the people at the top don't," she said, earning cheers from the massive crowd.

The concert was attended by 75,000 fans at Sydney Olympic Park. There were 23 artists, both local and international, who put on a show for the city. The show was broadcast nationally and to the US, UK and New Zealand.

Talent including Jessica Mauboy, Alice Cooper, Delta Goodrem, Peking Duk, Ronan Keating and more performed.

Amy Shark told the crowd it was the "greatest day of my life."

"Standing here right now in front of you and everyone at home, we should feel strong and powerful right now, because we are the strongest country in the world," she said.

And kd Lang flew in specially for the show, performing an incredible rendition of 'Hallelujah'.
