Emily Ratajkowski may have been leaving subtle clues about her new romance with heartthrob Harry Styles long before the two sent the world into a collective meltdown when they were caught pashing in Tokyo last week.

However, now fans have dug up a podcast segment from last month which featured Ratajkowski who said that she had actually been seeing someone for about a month.

Speaking on the podcast, Going Mental with Eileen Kelly back on March 9, the model let it slip that she'd been seeing a mystery man.

"I just started dating someone that I think I like, so that is different. I was like, 'He's kind of great," she said.

The 31-year-old also said that thus far, this mystery man had been yet to give her the 'ick'.

"But if you had been talking to me four weeks ago, absolutely. I would be seeing someone, and then suddenly the way he would walk would be like, ugh," she explained.

Also on the same podcast episode, Ratajkowski divulged on what she looks for in a man and it all seems to boil down to emotional reciprocation.

"I really would like somebody who is capable of taking care of me in the way I feel I am capable of taking care of other people."

Whilst this doesn't concretely confirm or deny that she is talking about Styles, fans and spectators believe that the timeline is beyond coincidental.

However, Styles was also spotted in Tokyo with more than just one high-profile model. After locking lips with Ratajkowski, the As It Was singer was later snapped walking the backstreets of Tokyo with 32-year-old American-Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara.

Styles was captured wearing a pair of wings that the model had been snapped wearing earlier that day.

The pair would have flown under the radar until the outing was publicised by a Harry Styles fan account.
