Elsa Pataky shares sweet but baffling 34th birthday post for husband Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth got carried away on his 34th birthday – literally!

The actor celebrated the milestone on a romantic weekend with wife Elsa Pataky on Queensland's secluded and private Orpheus Island in the Great Barrier Reef.

And despite Elsa's teeny tiny stature, she managed to hoist her hulking 6-foot-3 spouse into the air for a birthday photo on the beach.

"Happy birthday to my koala bear!! @chrishemsworth. best weekend ever!" the 41-year-old Spanish actress captioned the photo. "Love you always and forever!! #shitimstrong 💪😜 #paradise @orpheusisland @australia ❤️❤️."

How did she do that?? Seriously impressive lifting skills, Elsa.

Chris recently gushed about his wife and the calming effect she has on him.

"She makes me enjoy it, you know," he told Entertainment Tonight. "She makes me kind of just go, 'You've worked you’re a-- off. Now have fun. Enjoy it. And continue to work and apply that same sort of, you know, commitment, but you're allowed to enjoy it too'."

Elsa wasn't the only one to publicly declare their affection for the father-of-three over the weekend.

Chris' little brother Liam Hemsworth took to Instagram to share a slightly less mushy tribute.

"Happy birthday Chrisso! Love u ya massive jerk ;)" Liam, 27, captioned a shirtless shot of Chris in steamy water with rubber ducky. "xox @chrishemsworth #bathtime #rubberducky."

Chris' Avengers co-starJeremy Renner was quick to comment: "Bday bubbles for ol Hemi…. Cheers my man!!!"

Meanwhile, Chris' Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi shared a hilarious pic of Chris giving him the middle finger on set.

"Happy Birthday @chrishemsworth!" the Kiwi director wrote. "Thank you for being so cool to me and such a supportive friend. So rare to find a connection like ours. Xo."
