"We flew these kids & the families out to Hawaii as my special guests to our MOANA 2 world premiere," he continued.
"What a beautiful day meeting these kids. Their strength and resilience inspires EVERYONE around them - including me.
"To all their moms, dads & siblings who I met - I feel it in every hug and handshake. I know. Stay strong," Johnson added.
"Best part of fame and God bless you all."
Johnson and his daughters met five kids, one of whom he shares the same birthday with.
After asking the 15-year-old how old he was, Johnson laughed, replying, "Man, I was 15 like 800 years ago."
The Jumanji star took the time to chat and get to know each of the kids, with several families describing Johnson as an "inspiration" to their child while they were undergoing treatment.
One young boy even showed off his Moana themed shirt which featured a pictured of Johnson's character Maui.
