Destiny’s Child shock fans with surprise reunion at Jay-Z concert
Beloved ’90s girl group Destiny’s Child shocked fans by reuniting 20 years after they disbanded in the most unlikely place: a Jay-Z concert.
Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were spotted partying in a VIP suite at the rapper’s concert in Los Angeles over the weekend, days after the rapper selected himself as the 2027 Super Bowl halftime performer.

The Say My Name singers were all smiles two decades after they announced they were splitting up to pursue solo careers, all of which turned out to be pretty successful.
Destiny’s Child previously reunited to perform at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour, but they weren’t the only stars to make a surprise appearance last night.
While Jay-Z’s wife was dancing along to his music in the crowd, the couple’s eldest daughter Blue Ivy took to the stage with her dad for a rare musical performance.
“Please put your hands together and make noise for the multi talented, the most incredible Blue Ivy Carter,” the rapper, real name Shawn Corey Carter, called to the sold-out crowd.
Blue, 14, played the piano while her father performed The Story of OJ and Dead Presidents for thousands of screaming fans.
Jay-Z wrapped her in a hug after the performance and Blue bowed and blew kisses to fans before she left the stage.
It’s far from the first time Blue has joined her famous parents on stage.
The teen performed with mum Beyoncé for the first time back in 2023, when she joined the Partition hitmaker on stage for a private performance at the Atlantis The Royal hotel opening in Dubai.

Since then, she’s become a staple in her mum’s shows, often performing with dancers while Beyoncé belts out her biggest hits.
Both women joined Jay-Z on stage in New York in July as well, which the rapper later called the highlight of his night.
He previously gushed to GQ about his eldest daughter’s skill on the piano, saying, “She has perfect pitch. If she hears a song, she’ll be like, ‘play it again,’ and then she’ll teach herself.”
Jay-Z added that Blue doesn’t want a teacher or to turn music into a job, she just has raw talent that her parents encourage.

“She worked at this, and it makes me proud that she fought for something that she really wanted to do. I don’t think we’re going to be able to get her off that stage now,” he said.
Though Blue has become a common sight at her parents’ shows, her younger siblings, nine-year-old twins Rumi and Sir Carter, prefer to stay out of the spotlight – at least, for now.
Earlier this week, Jay-Z – whose company Roc Nation has produced the Super Bowl halftime show since 2019 – revealed he will take to the stage at next year’s game, Puck News reported.
Multiple sources told the publication that the mogul’s time was inevitable at some point, and now is finally time.
They also said Jay-Z felt “more compelling” than this year’s other frontrunners, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber.
Despite the report, there has been no official announcement or confirmation from Roc Nation or the NFL.
