Police have dropped an apprehended violence order against former Home and Away star Dan Ewing after an alleged incident involving his ex-wife.

Ewing, 33, was set to have two AVOs heard against him in Manly Local Court on November 13.

His manager, Anthony Kidd, told 9Honey Celebrity the order "and all surrounding allegations brought against him by ex-wife Marni Little" were today dropped by police.

An AVO against Ewing involving Ms Little's new husband, David Robertshaw, remains in place, police said.

It stems from an incident on October 21 when Ewing was accused of poking Mr Robertshaw in the chest during the custody exchange of his and Ms Little's son.

Kidd said in a statement, "no charges will be laid by police for the alleged assault".

Ewing and Ms Little split in December 2015, after three years of marriage.

The couple announced their separation a few months later via their then-manager.

"Dan and Marni Ewing amicably decided to end their three-year marriage in December 2015, due to irreconcilable differences," the statement read. "The couple remain friends, and will continue to co-parent their son."

The couple added to the statement: "We wish nothing but the best for each other and are both committed to focusing our attention on [our son]."

Ewing -- who is best known for his role as Heath Braxton on Home and Away -- recently celebrated his two-year anniversary with actress Kat Risteska.

Ms Little and Mr Robertshaw married on November 4.
