Hugh Hefner's son Cooper Hefner marries actress Scarlett Byrne

Cooper Hefner, son of Kimberley Conrad and the late Hugh Hefner, has married actress Scarlett Byrne in a civil ceremony in Los Angeles.

Hefner, 28, and Byrne, 29, shared the news on their respective Instagram accounts on Tuesday, November 5, and revealed they plan on having a second wedding party with family and friends in the near future.

Sharing a photo taken outside the courthouse, Byrne wrote, "Cooper and I are excited to share that we legally married. We are looking forward to planning our wedding in the coming months where we will celebrate further with our friends and family. I love you Cooper. I am proud to stand by your side, as your partner, your friend, and your wife. I cannot wait to continue building a life together. My heart is so full and I am so grateful for our love."

Hefner, a businessman and writer, shared the same photo.

"Scarlett and I have made it officially legal and the two of us could not be happier. Cheers to a life full of love, happiness, adventure, and great purpose, Mrs. Hefner," he captioned the image. "I love you dearly and very much look forward to planning our wedding celebrations in the months ahead. I love you, Scarlett."

Byrne's co-star in the Harry Potter franchise, Evanna Lynch, commented, "Mrs Hefner!! 💕 I was not ready for that!! 😭 hugest congrats!!!" Byrne is best known for playing Pansy Parkinson in the Harry Potter films.

Hefner and Byrne became engaged in August 2015 while in London. In February 2017, Byrne posed nude for Playboy magazine. Later that year, Hefner — Playboy's founder and editor-in-chief — died at the age of 91.
