Christina Aguilera rose up the charts and became an international success in the late '90s when she released hit tracks including What a Girl Wants and Genie in a Bottle.

It was also around that time when Aguilera – and some of her industry peers – started to experience body-shaming.

In a new and candid chat with Glamour, Aguilera, 43, recalled being body-shamed in the early days of her career.

Aguilera said that now as she's gotten older, she couldn't care less what people think of her anymore, saying she doesn't "give a f--k".
