Chrissy Teigen turns mean tweet into a compliment
If anyone can turn a mean tweet into a compliment, it's Chrissy Teigen!
The mother-of-two was watching a football game on Saturday night when she tweeted her grasp on the game in response to some play on the field.
"Wait so if someone wants to, they can hide off the field out of bounds then come in and sneak attack a touchdown. This is all good to know," she said.
The tweet was of course met with mixed responses, with some users unhappy that Teigen was using the platform to talk about sport.
"Stick to being hot with giant cans," one user responded, charmingly.
Instead of responding angrily to the user, the model and author turned it back around, thanking him instead.
"I know you're trying to be mean but I really needed this today so thank u," she said.
Teigen has never been one to bite her tongue, especially when it comes to calling out trolls, regularly responding to people who try and insult or shame her on social media.
Teigen, who is married to singer John Legend, later tweeted, "Twitter is so much easier when you solely talk about reality shows and cooking. ANYTHING outside that, I don't think my weak mental state can take."
