Chrissy Teigen has always been pretty open about the ins-and-outs of her life as a celebrity. But now, for the first time, she's coming clean about the plastic surgery she had as a 20-year-old.

"Yeah, I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old," she revealed in an interview with Glamour UK, adding that it was mainly because she was modelling swimsuits. "I thought, if I'm going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky!"

The model and author, now married to singer John Legend, made her magazine debut in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2010. Teigen claims the implants were just done to improve her breast shape and appearance, rather than making them any bigger.

"Honestly, I kept them the same cup size. I just filled them out, so they are rounder and firmer. I had a quarter 'teardrop' cup in the bottom and filled out the breast line."

She went on to explain how having children affected her implants: "You have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed."

Teigen is a mum to Luna, three, and Miles, one.

While her implants served their purpose at the time she got them, Teigen admits that she wishes she could have them removed.

"I want them out now. If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift. I think you're supposed to replace [implants] every ten years. But when you have kids you think about [the risks] of surgery and I think, 'This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery'."
