Chris Hemsworth shares embarrassing airport blunder in new interview with wife Elsa Pataky
Forgetting your passport is potentially the biggest mistake you can make when heading to the airport for an international trip.
Chris Hemsworth took it to the next level, however, when he mistakenly packed his son’s passport for his daughter, only realising the error once he reached the departure gate.

Hemsworth made the realisation when sitting down for an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia alongside his wife, Elsa Pataky.
When asked who’s most likely to forget their passport, they both immediately pointed at each other, but Hemsworth quickly forfeited the fight.
“I actually went to the airport once, and I had my daughter’s passport instead of my son’s passport,” Hemsworth shared.
“They kind of look the same,” he added before Pataky jumped in to correct. “They don’t.”
Hemsworth went on to say that he tried to get his daughter through security with his son’s passport, laughing as he explained that he pointed to the picture and said, “This is her”.

“They were like, ‘That’s a boy’,” he recalled.
“So, yeah, that didn’t work.”
Pataky and Hemsworth have been together for nearly 16 years now, after being first introduced by Hemsworth’s talent agent back in 2010.
They officially started dating in September that same year, and by December, they were married.
They announced their first pregnancy just a little over a year after their wedding in January 2012, welcoming their baby girl, India Rose, on May 11.
Their second pregnancy was announced in January 2014, and their twin boys, Tristan and Sasha, were born on March 18.
In an interview with People earlier this year, Hemsworth revealed that the key to their whirlwind romance turned 16-year marriage is honesty, but not in the way you’d expect.

“There’s an honesty, the north star of truth, that you’re going to get with Elsa,” he said.
“I can show something to a bunch of other people, and they might be like, ‘Oh, great work,’ but Elsa will tell me if it sucks.
“[She] knows who I am, and we know what each other can do.”
