All the celebrities you may not have known went to school together
It truly is a small world after all, and nothing proves that fact more than seeing where the world's high-profilers went to school... and realising a lot of them share their alma maters.
For some, their years together in class sparked lifelong friendships. For others, it was the complete opposite.
For most, their relationships are somewhere in between.

Julia Stiles and Vanessa Carlton
These two stars became icons of the late '90s and early noughties for their respective work.
Julia Stiles (on the left) found fame after her starring role in the 1999 film Ten Things I Hate About You alongside the late Heath Ledger.
Meanwhile, Vanessa Carlton became a household name after the release of her hit single A Thousand Miles.
Its far-reaching impact was immortalised when it was featured in the 2004 comedy White Chicks.
The pair have been photographed together at red carpet events over the years but they met well before the hit songs, iconic films and red carpets...

It turns out the duo, pictured here in 2003, met in high school.
Speaking with People at a screening for Stile's directorial debut Wish You Were Here on January 15, Carlton shared that they met in ninth grade.
"I've known Julie since, like, ninth grade biology class, so we're just living out life, man, just looking for the next exciting thing to do," she said.
Speaking of how far the duo have come since their teenage years, Carlton expressed her pride for Stiles.
"I think it's a dream," Carlton says.
"I really do think it takes a lot of hard work and navigating a lot of tricky situations, but I think friendships really matter, and I can't speak for her, but I think she should be really proud of the work that she's done and where she's headed."
Jason Momoa and...
Before Jason Momoa was cast as Aquaman in DC's Extended Universe, he was growing up in Norwalk, Iowa.
And so was another future DC star, who was also in the school's football team with Momoa.
"He was always playing defense," the star told 9honey Celebrity of Momoa, who was also in the same Boy Scouts troop as his fellow future actor.

Brandon Routh
It's Superman Returns' Brandon Routh!
"I think I remember going over to his house one time, playing video games," Routh told 9honey Celebrity ahead of his appearance at Metro Comic Con in Melbourne this weekend.
"But we weren't like friend-friends, but we were teammates."
Routh speculates that Momoa, like himself, was a bit lonely during their school years.
"I was very lonely because I didn't have any friends after, like, middle school," Routh revealed.
Momoa and Routh did ultimately reunite in Iowa, Routh said, when they were both around 25 – one year earlier, Routh had been cast as Superman/Clark Kent in Superman Returns.
"It was the first time I'd seen him in, like, eight or 10 years," Routh explained.
"And that was great. It was like, I finally got to know [Momoa]. It was kind of really cool."
Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman
Among North Sydney Girls High School's long list of elite alumni are Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman.
Kidman actually dropped out of the selective school at the age of 17, and switched her academic focus to massage so she could help her mother with therapy following a breast cancer diagnosis.
Watts also did not graduate school, working as a papergirl, negative cutter and a store manager before deciding to pursue modelling at the age of 18.
"Growing up with you, having you close, has been one of the more meaningful aspects of this journey," Watts wrote to her "extraordinary friend" in June 2019 on Instagram.
"My love, respect and admiration for you is next level. Keep being the inspiration that you are. Let's take up Bridge or Bingo soon. I love you madly, deeply ❤️".
Meghan Markle and Katharine McPhee
Future royal Meghan Markle and songstress Katharine McPhee both attended Immaculate Heart in Los Angeles, with McPhee sharing this photo of the two of them starring in a musical together to Instagram in February 2019.
"She was actually in my sister's class – two years older than me. My sister did shows with her, I did two shows with her when I was a seventh-grader or eighth-grader," McPhee later told People of the Duchess of Sussex.
"They were obscure musicals. I think one was called Yankee Doodle. I don't know if there are videos of her singing, but she's a really good singer."
Prince William, Eddie Redmayne and...
Another royal and Hollywood hero schoolmate combination is that of Prince William and Eddie Redmayne, who are pictured here in 2015 with Redmayne's wife Hannah Bagshawe.
"I always felt slightly sorry for him because everyone wanted to tackle the future king of England," Redmayne recalled to Glamour magazine of their time together on the rugby team.
"He took all the hits."
Tom Hiddleston
William attended the prestigious all-male boarding school Eton College with Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston, who is pictured here.
Hiddleston later revealed on The Graham Norton Show in 2017 that he and Redmayne were in a theatre show together in school, but Redmayne had the better role.
"In the Passage to India, there's an expedition by elephant to this cultural landmark called the Marabar Caves," Hiddleston explained.
"I'm delighted to reveal that I played the front right leg of the elephant that Eddie was riding on."
