Camila Mendes says she hangs out with Riverdale co-stars 'more than I ever did' since series ended
After seven seasons, the cast of Riverdale said goodbye on-screen last year.
But star of the show Camila Mendes says in real life, the co-stars are closer than ever before.
The 29-year-old actress tells 9honey Celebrity that while they all spent a lot of time together on set, now they make sure they make time for each other.

"I feel like I hang out with them more than I ever did," Mendes says from Los Angeles while promoting her new movie Upgraded.
"Obviously I saw them a lot when I was on set, so we naturally were always around each other, but on weekends, a lot of us would travel or go other places.
"So hanging out was a little bit less frequent but now, we have more time and we make more of a conscious effort to see each other."
Mendes, who rose to fame as Veronica Lodge on the series alongside Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse, is now starring in her own rom-com that she's also served as executive producer on.
Despite the busy schedule, the Upgraded star tells 9honey Celebrity she regularly sees her former co-stars.
"I get together with the girls every few weeks we get together and have like a little sleepover or something," Mendes says.

"I was just at KJ's [Apa] house the other night, seeing his family and then you know, was texting Casey [Cott] two nights ago to see him in New York," she continues. "I definitely keep in touch with a lot of them."
The teen series about school kids trying to unravel the evils lurking in their town debuted in the US in 2017, and gave Mendes her big break.
"Definitely when I got my first paycheque I just didn't want to spend it," she laughs.
"I just wanted to be business as usual. Just like, 'OK, I made a little bit of money but it could go away at any second so just be smart and keep saving up' ... I was just happy to be getting a paycheque."
