“You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s not like I don’t have tickets,” he says, matter-of-factly.
“Um, it’s because, it’s a long story. These can go to someone... else. Hey, put them somewhere fun,” he says putting the tickets in a bag with a delivery driver.
He captioned his post: “Asked @doordash to go drop my FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets for you guys... happy hunting Follow @doordash’s account to see clues for where you can find them xx.”
Underneath the post, followers and Beckham fans weighed in.
“Nothing funny about this…..absolutely nothing,” one Instagram user wrote.
“Bad taste!!!!! That’s dry,” another quipped.
But another had his back, writing: “Good on ya mate, don’t know you but stand up for what you think is right for you 🤟.”
Brooklyn’s first advert for the food delivery company dropped on Tuesday.
In it he says: “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s a long story,” before putting the tickets on a table.
He’s since been criticised for cashing in on the breakdown of the Beckham family.

It was recently reported that his sister Harper Beckham, 14, hand-delivered a letter to his house in Los Angeles, with pictures surfacing, but Brooklyn wasn’t home.
“That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras,” a representative for Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham said in a statement to press.
Brooklyn was said to be in New York during the visit.

It contained bombshell allegations against his footballer father and Spice Girl mother and claims about the way they’ve allegedly treated his wife.
In his statement, which has made international headlines, Brooklyn asserted that he does “not want to reconcile with [his] family”.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” he wrote, with the statement being posted on Instagram.
In one part, Brooklyn claimed that at his wedding, Victoria “hijacked” his first dance with Nicola and claimed his mother “danced very inappropriately on me”.
