Brooklyn Beckham is doing his part to fight rumours he's feuding with his family

Amid swirling rumours of a Beckham family rift, eldest son Brooklyn Beckham is doing his part to quash the chatter.

The 26-year-old has spent the past few days at the Formula E Evo Sessions in Miami, one of 11 famous faces brought in by the brand to produce social content for Formula E.

He told The Sunday Times he found himself with the gig because of his "love for racing", but there's a deeper meaning behind it.

Brooklyn's love for the sport started when he was "very young", inspired by none other than his football star dad, David Beckham.

"It's something that me and my dad bonded over," he told the publication.

"My dad's had some pretty cool cars."

He added that he, too, has begun to collect cars, sharing that his prized possession is his 1954 Jaguar, which he only drives when "the weather's perfect".

Brooklyn attended the event in a pink helmet, sharing that he designed it himself, and adding several elements of it are close to his heart – including the number 237.

"The 237 is my lucky numbers, 23 and seven," he sad, failing to add that 23 was his dad's jersey number at Real Madrid and seven his number at Manchester United.

Rumours of a feud erupted when Brooklyn failed to attend his dad's elaborate 50th birthday celebrations, consisting of a family holiday, a black-tie dinner, and a star-studded party.

Pictures all over social media showed David and Victoria with their three youngest children, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, with Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham no where to be seen.

When Brooklyn and Nicola first married there were rumours of a feud between the newly anointed Beckham and Brooklyn's mum, Victoria Beckham, but the duo have since worked hard to quash those rumours.

Now, Brooklyn is rumoured to be feuding with his younger brother Romeo since he's gone public with his relationship with DJ Kim Turnbull – who was once heavily rumoured to have been dating Brooklyn.

In April 2025, Romeo shut down the rumours in an Instagram exchange with a fan.

The fan wrote in a comment, "It's appropriate to date your brother's ex too? Cool," to which the 22 year-old replied, "Brooklyn and Kim never dated," before swiftly deleting the comment.

Brooklyn and Turnball seemingly did spend time together in their teen years until 2017, through they never confirmed that they were romantically involved.
