There was a huge clue dropped in the first episode of Bridgerton that everyone missed

It turns out there was a major hint to the identity of Lady Whistledown in the first episode of Netflix's Bridgerton –– did you notice it?
Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington, tweeted that she'd included an easter egg in her first scene.
"Ok I'm just curious, has anyone spotted the massive Easter Egg about Penelope in the very first scene of Bridgerton?" she wrote.

She then revealed that when she filmed the scene, she chose to hold a giant feather quill as a prop. This, of course, is a nod to the fact that Penelope is the mysterious gossip columnist known as Lady Whistledown.

Coughlan then tweeted that she'd actually hidden a lot of little clues throughout the series.
"If you rewatch there are lots of little hints in there, let me know if you spot any more and I can confirm/deny," she tweeted.
Sounds like a great excuse to keep binge-watching Bridgerton on repeat, if you ask us.
