Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles shares real photo of twins Rumi and Sir
At last, the world gets a first look at the real Carter twins.
Everyone got in formation yesterday when Beyoncé and JAY-Z projected images of themselves holding their twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, as they kicked off their On The Run II tour in Cardiff, UK.
But a rep for the couple later killed the hive's buzz when they confirmed that the babies in the photos were not the couple's kids, but rather stunt babies.
"When reached for comment, asking if this was indeed Beyoncé holding Sir and Rumi, the rep's swift response was, 'It's not,'" BuzzFeed reported yesterday.
It wasn't until Beyonce's mum, Tina Lawson, posted an image to her own Instagram this morning showing the real Sir and Rum -- and they are cute!
"My babies," Lawson captioned a photo of the twins at their parents' recent vow renewal ceremony.
And just like that, the twins have made their Instagram debut!
Lawson's image appears to be a screenshot of the video that played during the On The Run II tour, but if the twins' grandmother has posted it, we have reason to believe it's the real deal this time.
