Beyoncé shares rare photo of her twins after fooling fans on tour

Beyoncé has shared a rare photo of the twins she shares with JAY-Z.

On Wednesday, the 36-year-old posted on her website a photo of herself holding 13-month-old Rumi and Sir during a European family holiday. 

There's also an adorable snap of Beyoncé and her eldest child, 6-year-old Blue Ivy, wearing matching pink dresses.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z are notoriously private when it comes to their twins.

In fact, two months ago when they opened their On The Run II tour in Cardiff, UK, the couple tricked the world when they debuted what fans thought were never-before-seen photos of Bey, JAY-Z and the twins when they were babies.

The stunning pictures showed Beyoncé and JAY-Z holding both babies in the arms, and were accompanied by the messages, "LOVE IS UNIVERSAL" and "LOVE NEVER CHANGES."

But it turned out, the kids weren't actually Rumi and Sir.

BuzzFeed reached out to Beyoncé's representation to confirm the superstar was holding her children. "When reached for comment, asking if this was indeed Beyoncé holding Sir and Rumi, the rep's swift response was, 'It's not,'" the outlet reported.

Sir and Rumi were born in June last year.

When Beyoncé revealed she was pregnant with them, she pretty much broke the internet by posting her now-iconic pregnant Instagram photo, which quickly became the most-liked photo on the platform of that year.

And, after the twins were born, the first photo of the babies with their mother continued the floral theme of the first picture.

Up until this point that had been the only photo the Carters had shared of their babies.
