Beyoncé and Jay Z opt for online couples therapy

Beyoncé and Jay Z are reportedly having sessions with a therapist via Skype in a bid to hold their relationship together.

After recent events proved that the superstar couple are not as flawless as they appear, the pair are keeping up regular counselling sessions while touring their show On The Run.

According to an inside source, the therapy sessions aren't as scary as they sound.

"It might sound drastic but in America especially, counselling is fairly standard procedure," an insider told The Mirror.

"They have known their therapist for a long time and try to have weekly sessions just to keep communication open and make sure there are no misunderstandings," the source continued.

"It’s about maintenance rather than trying to fix anything hugely wrong. They are both happy and their daughter, Blue Ivy, remains their absolute priority."

The fact that they're having marriage counselling isn't much of a surprise… what's more shocking is that the billionaires couldn't spring for a real life therapist to tour with them.

Although, we can't imagine that having a psych as part of their entourage would be a good look. After all, saving face seems to be the Carter way.

The seemingly "perfect" couple's public image has been rocked this year following THAT elevator incident where Bey's sister Solange attacked her rap mogul brother-in-law after May's Met Ball in New York.

Nobody had any idea what the fight was about until two weeks ago when Beyoncé re-wrote the sensitive lyrics to her 2006 hit, 'Resentment', hinting not-so-subtly that Jay had cheated on her. Decked out in a wedding gown, Queen Bey belted out the lines "She ain’t even half of me. That b---- will never be me." Ouch.

Despite the constant scrutiny, the pair have apparently been quite affectionate during the tour. Onlookers saw them exchange more than a few PDA's over the weekend at their New Jersey show.

It looks like this Bonnie and Clyde ain't on the run from their marriage anytime soon.
