"Gabriella and Sharpay having babies together I love this," one fan commented, referring to the characters Tisdale and Hudgens played in the musical film trilogy.

"also the fact that vanessa and you are pregnant together is iconic," someone else said.

After welcoming her first baby three years ago, Tisdale shared the adorable moment her co-star Hudgens met her then two-month-old daughter Jupiter Iris.

"Juju & Aunt Nessa," Tisdale captioned the adorable photo of Hudgens holding the bub.

Tisdale began dating her husband French, who was in the band Annie Automatic in 2012 and tied the knot two years later in 2014.

The pair celebrated their nine year wedding anniversary last September with Tisdale writing to Instagram she "married the man of my dreams".

The news they are expecting their second child comes after the pair celebrated their daughter Juniper's third birthday just days before.

"she has changed our world completely and I know it's just the beginning," French captioned a birthday post for their daughter.
