Ashlee Simpson is pregnant with baby number two

Ashlee Simpson and her husband Evan Ross just got the best early Christmas present ever…a baby’s on the way!

E! News confirmed today that the pair, who have been married since August, are expecting their first child together.

The bub will join 30-year-old Ashlee's son Bronx, 6, from her previous marriage to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, in the family fold.

Just last month Evan was pretty excited about the prospect of a big family.

"I would like [to have kids]," the 26-year-old told US Weekly " As many as possible."

Fun fact: The bub-to-be will be the third grandchild of former Supremes singer Diana Ross.
