Days of Our Lives star Arleen Sorkin dies at 67
Arleen Sorkin, the actress best known for starring in the show Days of Our Lives and for voicing the original Harley Quinn from Batman: The Animated Series, has died aged 67.
Filmmaker and DC Studios CEO James Gunn, 57, confirmed the shock news on Instagram on Sunday and praised Sorkin for her work with the character Harley Quinn.
"Rest in Peace, Arleen Sorkin, the incredibly talented original voice of Harley Quinn, who helped to create the character so many of us love. Love to her family and friends. ❤️," he wrote in his post underneath a throwback picture of the late actress.

"Ah, God bless her," actress Nia Vardalos commented underneath.
"She was the perfect voice for Harley. I remember her as Calliope on Days of Our Lives when my mom would let me watch with her when I was a kid," another said.
Star Wars star Mark Hamill, who voiced The Joker alongside Sorkin, also shared a tribute to her on Twitter which read: "Devastated to learn we've lost the brilliant Arleen Sorkin. Not just a wonderful talent, but a truly wonderful person."

He added: "I'm grateful not only to have worked with her, but to have been her friend. Sending my heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones."
Her cause of death is not yet known.
She reprised her role as Quinn in shows including Gotham Girls and Justice League.

The actress, who hailed from Washington, was married to TV producer Christopher Lloyd and she leaves behind two children.
Throughout her career she won awards including Outstanding New Actress at the Soap Opera Digest Awards in the eighties for her role on the hit soap.
