Not even Warren's crush on Ellen could pull them apart. Yes, you read that right. Warren Beatty, 79, had a huge crush on Ellen DeGeneres, 58, before she came out as a lesbian in the '90s.

Annette's gaydar clearly functions better than her husband's, which is why she never considered his thing for Ellen to be a threat.

"He talked about you all the time," Annette, 58, told Ellen when the subject came up during the actress' visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"Really? That's cute," Ellen responded. "And you knew not to be threatened, so you just didn't tell him?"

Annette: "Yeah. I didn't want to share that with him."

It's moments like this that make us love both Annette and Ellen. Their comic timing was on fire during the segment.

They briefly left the crush conversation behind to focus on gift-giving for a longtime companion. (Ellen and her wife, Aussie actress Portia de Rossi, 43, have been together for 12 years.)
