Oscar-winning actress Anna Paquin reveals 'pinch-me' moments on-set of The Irishman
Anna Paquin became the youngest-ever Oscar winner when she walked away with an Academy Award in 1994, aged just 14.
But the True Blood actress still gets star-struck after all these years in the biz… and especially on the set of her latest movie, The Irishman.
The 37-year-old stars as Peggy Sheeran in the Martin Scorsese Netflix mafia movie, alongside Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci.
"It's literally as amazing as it sounds," Paquin told 9Honey Celebrity on the red carpet at the London Film Festival Closing Gala premiere of the drama.

"They were all 'pinch-me' moments," she admits about acting alongside the Hollywood heavyweights.
"Everybody who was, like I was, a supporting actor in the film — they're all people I look up to and admire. It was a ridiculous environment and I'm just incredibly honoured that I get to be part of the line up."
A big draw to the project for the actress was a chance to work with the prolific director.
"He's the kindest, most welcoming and inclusive and gentle [man that] I've ever been directed by," Paquin tells 9Honey Celebrity of Scorsese.

"He makes everybody feel completely at ease and therefore gets an extraordinary performance out of every single person."
And it seems British actor Stephen Graham feels the same.
The 46-year-old Boardwalk Empire star told 9Honey Celebrity being on-set felt like Christmas.
"[It was] An absolute joy for me — every day was like Christmas Day, know what I mean, it really was.

"It was an absolute jolly and they were just wonderful men to work with," he added of working alongside the big name cast.
Harvey Keitel, 80, a long-time friend of De Niro and Scorsese — who also worked with them on Taxi Driver among a number of other films — says he enjoyed hanging out with his mates while working on this movie.
"It's always a joy to work with them, we have a common denominator amongst us — we're all from New York, 'New York Actors'," he told 9Honey Celebrity on the red carpet.

Speaking of appearing in the 'mob movie' and the audiences' insatiable appetite for the hitman genre, Keitel says he doesn't see it as a film just about the mafia — it's so much more.
"I don't think it is a mob movie or a mafia movie, I think it's a film about politics and survival and relationships and family."
