Animal rights activists scold Beyonce and family for posing with tiger in Thailand

Beyoncé might want to think twice the next time she and daughter Blue Ivy get dolled up in tiaras for a photo with a tiger cub.
The folks at World Animal Protection have criticised the singer for an Instagram snap of her, hubby Jay-Z and Blue Ivy, 2, with a baby feline during a visit to FantaSea in Phuket.
"A tiger is not a plaything," the agency said in a statement. "Their health and well-being should not be sacrificed for a photo opportunity. When you look behind the scenes, holiday snaps like these support an industry that relies on animal cruelty."
The statement went on to explain how the tigers are taken from their natural habitat and held captive for the enjoyment of tourists.
Other animal rights groups also took issue with Beyoncé for being photographed riding an elephant during the family's Thai-getaway holiday.
The Carters weren't doing anything that countless tourists don't do every year, but that's the price of fame and millions of Instagram followers.
