Andrew Garfield splits from girlfriend Kate Tomas: 'We broke up months ago'

Andrew Garfield has split from girlfriend Kate Tomas after being publicly linked since March.

Tomas confirmed the news with followers on her official Instagram page when asked in a comment about her romantic status with the Spider-Man actor, 41.

"Are you still dating Andrew Garfield? If so, tell him I'm a fan of him, please," one fan asked in the comments underneath one of her latest posts.

"We broke up months ago but I'm sure he will be happy to know that he is loved," she replied.

Another follower abruptly asked: "Will you ever stop talking about Andrew? Cause he has never and will never talk about you so why can't you stop?"

Tomas replied: "Sweetheart, the only people who ever talk about or centre a man in my life, work, business and social media are women like you."

Just three months ago, Tomas spoke out about the misogyny surrounding their romance.

Tomas, 42, told The Sunday Times there's a lot of misogyny surrounding their romance and said she's a strong, accomplished woman in her own right and is not just dating an actor.

"It's frustrating that no matter how accomplished or impactful a woman is, it's always going to be more interesting if they are in a relationship with a man," she explained.

Tomas is a "professional witch" and tarot card reader to the stars and was born in the UK. She reportedly is going through her fourth divorce. She is also an author.

She and Spider-Man star Garfield, 40, had been linked since March when they were spotted by paparazzi out together.
