Alec Baldwin 'not sleeping' after horror movie shooting

Hilaria Baldwin is reportedly "very worried" about her husband Alec after the horror movie set shooting that saw cinematographer Halyna Hutchins killed.

Alec, 63, is "haunted" by the death of 42-year-old Hutchins, who was killed on the set of Hollywood film Rust when the actor fired off a gun that should not have contained a bullet, according to People.

"Hilaria is very worried about him," the insider told the publication. "He is really not sleeping and [is] just haunted by Halyna's death."

The insider also added the former 30 Rock actor is "struggling" but understands "things are worse" for Hutchins' family.

"He doesn't want any sympathy. He doesn't want this to be about him."

A source previously told People Alec had been "leaning on Hilaria" since the shooting, with the yoga instructor sharing her support for her husband via an Instagram post after the incident.

"I love you and I'm here," Hilaria wrote alongside a post of the couple holding hands.

The couple, who share six children together, put on a display of solidarity after dressing up for Halloween with the kids.

The family-of-eight posed in various costumes and Hilaria captioned the images: "Parenting through this has been an intense experience, to say the least."

"Today, we rallied to give them a holiday. Last min costumes…a little hodge-podge…but they were so happy and that warmed my mama heart," she added.

Hutchins was killed and director Joel Souza was injured when a gun was discharged on the set of the movie in Santa Fe, New Mexico on October 21.

Investigators understand Alec's gun fired a single round when he was practicing drawing the firearm.

The actor was sitting in a pew in a church building setting when the gun went off, according to an affidavit.

Director Souza was looking over Hutchins' shoulder "when he heard what sounded like a whip and then a loud pop," the affidavit also reads.

Local authorities in New Mexico are continuing to investigate the tragic incident.
