Alec and Hilaria Baldwin reveal gender of baby number five

Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin have revealed the sex of their fifth child.

The announcement comes five months after the couple suffered a miscarriage.

The soon-to-be mother-of-five posted a video on Instagram to share the news. There was no balloon popping or cake cutting in this gender reveal. Instead the adorable video, which was captioned "Our little reveal 💙💖. We are so excited!" shows the Baldwins' four other children — Carmen, six, Rafael, four, Leonardo, three, and Romeo, one — each receiving a swaddled doll for them unwrap to reveal the sex of their new sibling.

Carmen, was the first to unwrap her doll to excitedly show that she'll soon have a baby sister.

It's not the first time that the 35-year-old TV personality has taken to Instagram to share personal news with her followers. Last month she posted a video of the baby's heartbeat from an ultrasound to reveal the couple were once again expecting.

The 61-year-old 30 Rock star talked about the couple's desire to have another baby earlier this month when he appeared on Kevin Nealon's YouTube series, Hiking with Kevin, telling him;

"We have four kids. She wants to have another one. We're having another one," Baldwin said. "We're gonna have a fifth baby."

The co-host of the Mom Brain podcast also shared a photo of her baby bump on social media, captioning it, "When you've had so many babies, 6 minutes pregnant = looking like 6 months pregnant."
