AFL star Kyle Lanford welcomes first child with fiancée Lulu Scott-Young

AFL star Kyle Langford is officially a dad!

The Essendon player has welcomed his first child with fiancée Lulu Scott-Young.

The new parents announced the exciting update in a joint Instagram post, revealing their daughter's name is Bonnie Maree.

"Bonnie Maree Langford. Born November 1st…a love like no other," they said.

The couple shared several wholesome snaps of their new family of three, posing with their little girl all wrapped up in a blanket and knitted beanie.

Scott-Young has already sweetly updated her Instagram bio with, "Bonnie's Mum".

The post was inundated with messages of congratulations for the pair, including from several of Langford's Essendon teammates.

"Amazing! Congrats to you both and enjoy every minute!," Darcy Parish wrote.

"Congratulations guys. So happy for you both ❤️" Jye Menzie said.

Former Essendon player David Zaharakis also congratulated the couple.

Model Annalise Dalins, who recently got engaged to Collingwood star Josh Daicos commented: "Owww. congratulations!! Go mamma! So happy for you!! 💞❤️"

Every celebrity baby born in 2024

In August, Scott-Young revealed they were having a daughter, posting pictures from their pink-themed baby shower.

"Ultimate Girl Mum & Girl Dad," she said.

The couple announced they were engaged and expecting their first child in a heartwarming joint post in June.

The AFL player got down on one knee in Noosa Heads, Queensland.

The pair shared photos from the romantic oceanside proposal, as well as snaps showing off Scott-Young's growing baby bump and some sonogram photos.

"Mum & Dad are getting Married 💍" the caption, written by Scott-Young, read.

"Baby Langford coming November 2024 & a lifetime with you."

Just last month the couple walked the 2024 Brownlow Medal red carpet together.

Scott-Young stunned on the night in a silky butter yellow gown, showing off her noticeable baby bump, while Lanford wore a suit for the occasion.

The couple made their Brownlow debut the year before in 2023.

They are believed to have been dating since 2021.

Earlier this year they shared photos from their travels around New Zealand together.
