From chasing pavements to chasing mozzies!

During Adele's Sunday concert in Brisbane, the 28-year-old singer started screaming mid-show when a mosquito flew by her on stage.

After a few seconds of indecipherable squeals, she composed herself enough to alert her fans at the sold-out Gabba show to the source of her distress.

"I'm sorry, I'm not Australian. I don't like bugs!" she cried, running across the stage. "It was sucking my blood! It was sucking my blood!"

The outburst comes on the heels of a more sentimental moment during the Grammy winner's Australia tour. At the previous Brisbane show, Adele revealed to the crowd that she is actually married to her long-time love Simon Konecki.

"I was trying to remember how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record because as bad as a break up can be, as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth, and I am addicted to that feeling," she said.

"Obviously I can’t go through with those feelings because I’m married now. I’ve found my next person."

Adele and Simon share five-year-old son Angelo and are based in London. Adele's tour continues Friday night in Sydney, before moving on to Adelaide and Melbourne.
